FAQ
1. I work full time and have a family. Wouldn’t signing up for an adult degree program prove to be too much for me?
It shouldn’t. Adult degree programs are especially designed to meet the needs of adults who have full time careers and a family. An online degree program might be the perfect choice for you since it makes for a more flexible schedule. Traditional adult degree programs are also great since they are usually designed to hold classes after work hours and just a few times each week to give students more time.
2. How many units do I need to take each semester?
This depends on the institution you signed up with. It also depends on whether you plan to be a full time or a part time student.
3. How long does it take to complete an undergraduate degree?
Again the answer to this depends on the program you take and the pace with which you take it and your previous credits. In general you can finish a degree program within 2 ½ years if you study part time.
4. I’m retirement age already. Am I too old even for an adult degree education?
Definitely not. Adult degree education programs are for adults of ALL ages. Many adults who opt to get a degree are actually of retirement age and do it for no other reason than to achieve a dream or to enjoy taking classes.
